Mustard Seed Kids Camp

[slideshow id=24 w=300]
Mustard Seeds can be 4, 5 and 6 years old. You must turn 4 before the program ends.

Purpose

The main purpose of Mustard Seed Missions is to instill in children several vital truths: the need for salvation, the basics of salvation (God’s Son died for us), how to be saved and how to know we are saved.

Another goal is to instill a worldwide missionary vision. Mustard Seeds will meet people from other countries dressed in national costumes who will share about their nation. Every night they will have a missionary speaker at their own rally.

LENGTH OF INVOLVEMENT

Total Mustard Seed Kids Camp involvement is Wednesday, June 19th – Saturday, June 22nd.

If driving, you should plan to arrive at Boot Camp after 8 AM, but before 10 AM on Wednesday, June 19th. Parents may take their Mustard Seed home after Commissioning on Saturday, June 22nd. If you are flying to/from the Orlando International Airport, you should schedule your arrival between 8 AM and 5 PM on Tuesday, June 18th, and your departure after 9 AM and before 12 PM on Sunday, June 23rd.

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

An adult, either a parent/guardian or an adult approved by the parent/guardian, must complete their own registration form and accompany each Mustard Seed for the entire duration of the program. The adult’s involvement expense is the same as the Mustard Seed’s; the adult will sleep in the same tent as their Mustard Seed. The tents are located under the Mustard Seed Big Top, where the program takes place.

PROVIDED BY TEEN MISSIONS

Each Mustard Seed is provided with a food tray, bowl and international costume to use but not to keep. A sterling silver Mustard Seed ring, ID badge, cup, canteen and T-shirt are yours to take home.

Contributions Equal to: $99.00 U.S. plus Registration Fee

Sorry to bother you. One last question…approximately when would we receive prayer cards. Just wondering whether I should wait or do two separate mailings to friends and family. We registered today. WE SEND THEM OUT THE DAY OF OR THE DAY AFTER REGISTRATIONS. I WOULD WAIT FOR THEM RATHER THAN SEND OUT TWO MAILINGS.

Do the kids receive any type of prayer card package at this young age or no? I am just thinking that we want to do something to raise prayer(and financial) support to attend because flights will cost so much. I can do that on my own but didn’t want to jump ahead if we would be receiving something to hand out. Thanks. YOU WILL RECEIVE PRAYER CARDS, BUT NO LETTERS. HOWEVER, YOU CAN DO YOUR OWN LETTER.

Just wondering if it’s too late to register for Mustard Seeds 2013. Also how long does it take to find out if you’re accepted as we would need to book flights sooner rather than later. NO, IT IS NOT TOO LATE! WE DON’T SCREEN REGISTRATIONS, SO YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE ACCEPTED.

I was wondering if I would be able to bring my 2 girls for the mustard seed trip this summer by myself or does there have to be an adult per mustard seed child? YOU CAN BRING UP TO TWO CHILDREN PER ADULT.

I’m getting ready to register my 4 and 6 year old children. I will be coming with them. Do I fill out a separate registration for myself or am I registered just by filling out their registrations? CORRIE, YOU WILL NEED TO FILL OUT A SEPARATE REGISTRATION FOR YOURSELF.

I tried to find the registration form for the Mustard Seed program on line and could not find it. Is this something that would need to be mailed to me in order to bring my child? Would like to get as much information about this program as possible.

My mailing address is 508 Hawthorne Street Fort Lawn SC 29714

MELISSA, GO TO OUR WEBSITE AND RIGHT UNDER THE TOP, CLICK “REGISTER” AND PROCEED. IF YOU WANT A BROCHURE MAILED, PLEASE EMAIL US YOUR ADDRESS ([email protected]).

Melissa, If you look under the TMI logo on the front page of our website and on the right is “register”. Click on that and follow the directions. If you want a brochure mailed to you (everything is on our website), then email us ([email protected]).

We are stoked! FTM’s in this family and sending our 2nd gen to TMI. We created a prayer partner event on Facebook to reach more of our friends great response & finding many friends who have TMI history that we didn’t even know about.

My son’s birthday is June 24 and will be 4. Is he old enough for Mustard Seeds?

    1. Beth Kostner

Michelle, Let me check. Call our office on Monday (or email).

  9. Elizabeth

I am confused about the date, on the page prior to this one it states the Mustard Seed camp is from June 19-22, on this page it states Thursday, June 24th (which in 2013 6/24 is a Friday). Please have someone review the information and update it with the correct info so we can hopefully plan to attend.

    1. Beth Kostner

Elizabeth, We will be updating it tomorrow.
