Dates: June 20 – August 12 — Work/Evangelism
Travel to the other side of the world this summer as you make your way to the rainforests of Borneo, the land of mystery, intrigue and the third largest island in the world! You will leave a lasting impact upon this island as you help build a school that will train missionaries for many years to come.
Your summer adventure starts on Florida’s Space Coast as you meet your fellow team members, and prepare for the mission field at the Lord’s Boot Camp. After Commissioning you bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight to JFK International Airport in New York. From New York your flight continues across the Atlantic Ocean to Frankfurt, Germany for refueling, before continuing over Eastern Europe and India to Singapore. You then fly across the South China Sea to Kuching, Malaysia. You then fly across the South China Sea to Kuching on the island of Borneo and bus to your project site.
Upon arrival you will begin construction on the Teen Missions in Borneo BiBle, Missionary & Work (BMW) Training Center.
Housing is in tents; bathing and laundry will be done using buckets. Before leaving, you will have the opportunity to barter for native handicrafts made from wood, batik cloth and t-shirts.
On your return, you will overnight in Singapore and have the opportunity to shop in the Chinese night market for last-minute souvenirs.
Estimated Project Expense: $4990 U.S. plus $30 Registration Fee

I am glad for writing to make you know of the wonderful encounter my wife’s child gained browsing your blog. She noticed some pieces, with the inclusion of what it is like to have a wonderful teaching character to let folks easily fully understand specific tortuous subject matter. You actually did more than our expected results. Thanks for offering those powerful, trustworthy, educational as well as unique tips on your topic to Janet.

Hi Beth, I took Gus to get his shots the other day and they said that there is a low risk of malaria in that area. They said that depending on what kind of conditions they are staying in it might be a good idea to get it. Would you say from past teams that this would good to take?
