Hello, family, friends and supporters from the Zimbabwe team! It is amazing to experience the impact of our 586 prayer partners. Our team is coming together in such remarkable ways! They are supportive of one another and work well with other teams. Of their own initiative, this remarkable team volunteered to help clean all the toilets in the camp!
They are learning new truths from Scripture, new skills for sharing the love of Christ and God’s Word and new ways of relating to one another that build and support.
Kalin Taylor – I have learned a lot about working with the team. I am learning how to pray with a fervent spirit. I can feel the Lord at work in me and the people around me. I thank God for Teen Missions.
David Shang – I was very scared about coming to Boot Camp and came with the mindset of just getting through it. After a couple of days, though, God revealed to me that Boot Camp is not only a training ground, but a place where He has knocked me from my pedestal to see where my walk with Him really is. God has truly blessed me by providing awesome team leaders (we didn’t bribe him to say that) and teammates. Everyone here truly wants to see us grow more in Christ and do the work God has called us to do.
Tiffany Papp (our birthday girl) – Philippians 4:6 says to “be anxious for nothing, but in everything, with prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God…”. God is teaching me how to be thankful for everything. With all the rough conditions here, I know that others all over the world are truly suffering. My momentary discomfort is nothing. I am thankful for Boot Camp and even the rules. I am living in abundance!
