Uganda Mission Trip | Kenya

Uganda

Project change 05/03/13

Do you want to share the love of Jesus Christ with orphans and youth living in extreme poverty? Then come spend your summer in Uganda, The Pearl of Africa! After Boot Camp training, you will bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight to Miami. A connecting flight takes you across the Atlantic Ocean, to Paris, before continuing on across the Mediterranean Sea and the Sahara Desert to Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, then on to Entebbe, Uganda. As you continue your journey by bus to Koboko, in the northwest corner of Uganda, you will cross the mighty Nile River and likely see some of Uganda’s magnificent wildlife, such as baboons and elephants. Your project will be to continue construction on the Teen Missions in Uganda Koboko Bible, Missionary & Work Training Center. Laying block, plastering walls, mixing concrete and pouring classroom floors will be some of the projects to be worked on. Housing will be indoors and showers are available. You will have opportunity to minister to the local kids through Gospel presentations, friendship, and your Christian testimony. Wood carvings, soapstone, beadwork and drums are just some of the items you may be able to purchase as a souvenir of your summer.

Project Expense: $4790 U.S. plus $30 Registration Fee

Where do I find the blank visa application form? We did not get one in the packet that came in the mail with the sample visa application. I JUST EMAILED EVERYTHING TO YOU. SORRY!

  6. Sydney

Beth, this is Sydney’s mother. A coworker has uniforms for 5 full baseball teams (of various sizes) and wonders if one of the missions could use them in another country. She says it is a very large duffle bag full. Could you let me know if Teen Missions would be interested in them? Sydney could bring them down to Florida with her. Marcia Martin YES, WE WOULD BE INTERESTED. THE DUFFEL CAN GO OVERSEAS IN ONE OF OUR CONTAINERS.
