Take the love of Jesus to the orphans at House of Hope Orphanage in Haiti. Your team will help take the Gospel light to many who live in fear andhopelessness. After Commissioning you will bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight across the Straits of Florida and Cuba to Panama City, Panama. A connecting flight takes you across the Caribbean Sea to Santiago, Dominican Republic. From Santiago, you bus 100 miles to Ouanaminthe, Haiti just across the border from Dajabon.
You will build a shower facility for the orphanage and also a security wall around the property. Housing for the team will be in tents; bathing and laundry is done using a bucket. There will be opportunities to share with the Haitians through drama, puppets, singing and testimonies. While in Haiti, you may be able to visit the Citadelle, a large mountaintop fortress in northern Haiti, and in your free time swim and walk on the beach at Fort Liberty.
To remind you of your summer in Haiti, there will be time to barter for souvenirs such as hand-crafted grass and wood items, paintings and t-shirts.

What do we wear? When my brother went (10 years ago) he said all the girls had to wear dresses or skirts. Is that true?-I can’t find anything on it in the info packet. THAT INFORMATION WILL BE IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL TEAM FACT SHEET GOING OUT THIS MONTH.

My son has a donor that works for a matching donation company – how does that work for them to do? Usually she goes online to the website and requests it and they send it to the organization…PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE (321-453-0350) AND ASK FOR THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT.
