Imagine trying to cross a flooded river to get to school on the other side—without a bridge! This is a reality that thousands of children in Africa face every day.
After your training at the Lord’s Boot Camp, you bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight to London, England via Miami. A connecting flight from London crosses the Mediterranean Sea, Sahara Desert and the Equator before arriving in Nairobi, Kenya. Your final flight takes you to Lusaka, Zambia.
From the airport, your Zambia mission trip experience continues on a five-hour bus ride to the Teen Missions in Zambia Bible, Missionary & Work Training Center in Ndola. From there, you will take a three-hour ride into the heart of the African bush. Your project is to build a much-needed bridge for a village that is not accessible during the rainy season.

With this bridge, children will be able to get to school and adults will be able to get medical help for their families. You will also minister to the village by playing with the orphans and sharing the Gospel message. Visiting Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, will be a highlight of your summer. You will have the opportunity to barter for wood carvings, soapstone, drums and national dress.
