Build the first buildings near the village of Koboko on this African missions trip to Uganda! Teen Missions is opening up a new base in Northern Uganda, close to the Congo and Sudan borders, to reach the many AIDS orphans and refugees who cross over into Uganda from these countries.

After Commissioning, the team flies from the “City Beautiful”, Orlando, to Dulles International Airport in our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. Your missions trip continues across the Atlantic Ocean to Rome, Italy for refueling, then over the Sahara Desert to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The team will overnight in a hotel before continuing to Entebbe International Airport, located on Lake Victoria. From the airport, you travel by Teen Missions truck to Jinja, the source of the Nile River, which David Livingstone searched for all his life and never found.

It is now the home of Teen Missions in Uganda BIBLE, MISSIONARY & WORK Training Center. You will visit the AIDS Orphans Rescue Unit that is on the property and then pack up for the 10-hour trip north through the scenic country to your project site in Koboko. You will have the opportunity to experience the real African bush and see some animals in the wild along the way. There are many people in the area that this base will minister to including teens, orphans and refugees. As people are won to Christ in the coming years, you will know you had an important part in reaching them.
