McCracken, Samuel
Missionary News
Samuel was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California in a loving Christian home. He attended private school through 8th grade and graduated from high school in 1997. He attended some community colleges and several evangelism training schools. Samuel also attended the Calvary Chapel Bible College from ’06-’08. He spent some years working with his dad, Keith, in his computer business and has spent 5 years off and on working as a caregiver for the paralyzed and elderly. He was drawn to the ministry of Teen Missions because of the difference that they make in the lives of kids. Samuel has helped lead a preteen team to Belize in ‘07, a preteen team to Indiana in ‘08, and served as a summer volunteer in the Land Crew Department in ‘09. He joined staff in September of 2009 and currently is being trained in the Video Department.
Samuel’s passion is to share the love of God and the free gift of salvation with anyone who doesn’t have it. He has a burden for Middle Eastern Muslims and the innocent victims of the AIDS epidemic in Africa, the 14+ million AIDS orphans. Samuel desires to spend the rest of his life as a full-time missionary. He would like to minister in Africa at a Teen Missions base and somewhere in the Middle East in the future, or wherever God calls him.
He enjoys surfing, sharing his faith, reading, and watching a good movie!
