Dorci Nenobesi was born and raised on the island of Timor in Indonesia. Since taking a step of faith and joining Teen Missions, her ministry has led her to many Indonesian islands and even across the ocean. She began attending the Indonesia BIBLE, MISSIONARY & WORK (BMW) Training Center in 1999. After graduating in 2002 she joined Teen Missions staff and moved to a Teen Missions base on the island of Ambon. Two years later she moved again, this time to the Teen Missions base on Sumatra. During her years on staff she served in many ways, including teaching at the BMW, bookkeeping and buying groceries to feed the students. On December 10, 2007 she took yet another step of faith and moved across the Pacific Ocean to serve with Teen Missions in Canada. She is adjusting to the different culture and climate and enjoys serving in Canada. Her responsibilities include helping the Canadian staff with office work and doing Teen Missions promotions at mission festivals. In her spare time she is learning how to play the guitar and drive a car.
