Snowy peaks, rugged shorelines and fertile pastures dotted with sheep make New Zealand a picturesque place to live. New Zealand has been a commonwealth of Britain since 1907 and the influences of England are still alive in everyday living. Of the four million citizens or “kiwis”, one third live in Auckland, though the capital city is Wellington. Rugby is a popular sport and there is a heated rivalry between New Zealand and Australia. English and Maori are the two languages spoken and the main religions are Protestantism and Roman Catholicism. New Zealand provides support and monetary aid to many growing nation islands in the Pacific.

Teen Missions in New Zealand is a small base working in partnership with Teen Missions in Australia. It was incorporated as a not-for-profit charitable trust in 1996 by Robin and Elizabeth Little. Located in Rotorua, this base assists the New Zealanders with everything they need so they can go to the Australia Boot Camp. Change is in the air for this base, as plans are being made for the first-ever Kiwi Boot Camp in 2010!
