Greetings from the Zambia Foot Washing team! All of our travel went well. We had a great time touring London. Our flights went well and we all arrived safely. One of our bags was missing some food, but we are thankful that all of the bags arrived. We spent the night in a church in Lusaka and the mosquitoes were really bad there (reminded us of Florida). The next morning, we loaded all of our bags (40) and all of us on the truck. At last we started on our way. The African roads are very bumpy, but we enjoyed getting on our way and to our Zambian base. We unpacked, sorted shoes and got settled in. We are working on exchanging money, buying groceries and packing up again to go to our project site. We got a cold bucket shower and cleaned up after five days of traveling. We all slept well. There are no mosquitoes here! We woke up to cold temperatures (it was in the 50s last night!). During the day, it gets up to the 70s. Everyone is healthy and in good spirits. We look forward to getting to our project site. We will be leaving for the bush today. We don’t know when we will be able to email next. Please keep praying for us—health, safety in trave and that we will be a blessing to the orphans.
