This summer in Nepal taught me loads about patience. It is just inevitable that there will be things that will get on our nerves about each other. Its just life. But through my devotions and certain situations God taught me that no matter how hard you want a person to change, you can’t change them. You just have to look past those petty annoyances and truly look deeper into who they really are. Once you see that, those petty annoyances wont really get to you, because you know their heart and their relationship with God. That’s where the saying comes in, “Hard suffering pays off.” You just have to truly get to know the person.
