Canada Camp – Preteen Missions Trip

Canada Camp

June 30 – August 7

Camp Outlook—The Little Camp on the Prairie—is located on the vast Canadian prairie in Outlook, Saskatchewan, Canada.

After Boot Camp, you will bus to the Orlando International Airport and fly to Toronto, Ontario and on to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The 60-acre camp is located an hour south, along the banks of the South Saskatchewan River that runs through this beautiful prairie land. The camp has 11 cabins, a kitchen/dining room, toilet block and chapel, all enclosed in a grove of trees overlooking the river. Your project is to paint three buildings and to lay a concrete tile patio at the kitchen entrance. The team can go to the town of Outlook, which is at the edge of camp, for some special goodies. They will also get to share in local churches on Sundays.

Prairie deer are common and you will be able to pick Saskatoon berries that grow wild on the property. A short distance from the camp is a ¾-mile-long walking bridge high above the river. People come from all over Canada to walk it and you can too! You will enjoy the view when you see it. You will build lasting friendships with the Missionaries to Canada, a group of 15 Asians, who will be at the camp part of the time
