Indiana Clown-Drama | Teen Missions Trip

Clowning for Christ

Clowning for Christ

How would you like to do drama and clowning evangelism in county fairs on a mission trip through three states, or ride the best wooden roller coaster on the planet? After being trained by experienced individuals in drama and clowning, you will share in county fairs in Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois. Your team will also get to share at the Telling the Truth Saturday night youth rallies in Evansville, Indiana.

Dates:

June 24 – August 15

Location:

The team will be staying at Telling the Truth Ministries in Evansville, Indiana.

Sightseeing/Souvenirs:

You will tour the world-famous World of Coca-Cola™ headquarters and museum. You will visit Abraham Lincoln’s boyhood home and see his log cabin replica. Spend a day at Holiday World, in Santa Claus, Indiana, and ride the “Voyage Roller Coaster”, voted the #1 Wooden Coaster on the Planet for three years in a row by Amusement Today! Located at the same park is Splashin’ Safari, which boasts the World’s Longest Water Coaster, the “Wildebeest”, as well as “Pilgrims Plunge”, the World’s Tallest Water Ride. One evening you will eat at the historic “Log Inn”, Indiana’s oldest restaurant, which used to be a stage coach stop. Abraham Lincoln once stopped here for dinner.

Housing:

The team will be housed in dorms. Showers are available. Laundry will be done using buckets, or at a laundromat at team member’s expense.

Travel:

After Boot Camp, you bus north, with a stop in Atlanta, Georgia for an overnight stay. You continue on through Tennessee and Kentucky before arriving in Evansville.
