Zambia/Solwezi Boot Camp News

Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We hope that this email will find you in good healthy and full of God’s blessings. We are fine and the Lord has been so gracious to us and to our ministry to the orphans. We have 69 team members and 17 leaders on four teams. We had 59 salvations this past week. This week we picked up the teams for Debrief. We are in Debrief right now and this is our last day. We have been teaching all the Debrief classes. We have one kid who is sick with bilhazier so I took him in to the hospital and we have been told that he will get the medicine at 2 pm today. The boy’s name is Gift he is 13 years of age . He lives with his brother but when he told his brother that he was urinating blood, his brother told him that there is nothing he can do to help him. The boy has kept this to himself untill yesterday when he came to me and said, “I have this problem and no one has been able to help me.” He pleaded with me to help and I told him that he didn’t have to plead because Teen Missions would help him.I told him that God was going to help him using Teen Missions. When he was told that get in the truck, you are being taken to the hospital, he had a big smile on his face because finally he was being helped by Teen Missions. Gift said “Tell Teen Missions, thank you, Mr Bland. Many kids like Gift have received help from Teen Missions and are forever grateful to God for Teen Missions. Mr Bland, on behalf of Gift and many other kids who have been helped by Teen Missions, I would like to say “thank you”. Your heart to ensure that orphans are helped will be rewarded by the Lord on that day when Christ returns. May God add many more years to your life as you faithfully serve Him.

In Christ service Oscar and Maureen Chama. [boot camp co.ordinator]
