Why am I here?

2010 Motorcycle Training

Why am I here?  For a lot of kids, including me, why am I here again!?  The first day is an eternity because it’s the start of a two week training regiment to get us ready mentally and physically for tasks ahead.  The heat feels like it could demolish you in a matter of seconds.  When you sign up for Teen Missions you never really think about the Boot Camp phase.  You imagine the amazing and life altering trip that follows.  As the days go by you can see other people growing in their relationships with their teams and with God and after awhile the heat does not even matter.  The greatest thing is that you don’t have to be in luxury to grow or practice, you can be in the hottest most humid place, not being able to take a shower and still love God and what He’s done for us.

  1. Hi
I was wondering how much is the trip cost, to go to the Cambodia Motorcycle Sunday School Mission — Teen Trip?
    Thank you for your time.

  2. I suppose Chris is an FTM? Yes, going to Boot Camp as part of the summer with TMI is like having a baby – it’s painful but the joy erases the bad memories.

I am going to be at Boot Camp in 3 days. I know I will struggle with that same question – “why am I doing this again?!” – but I know that it will be worth it. I trust God!
