Indiana Drama – Teen Missions Trip

2009 Australia Drama Missions Trip

Mission Trip Dates: June 23 – August 14 — Work/Evangelism

After being trained at the Lord’s Boot Camp by experienced individuals in drama, music and puppets, you will share in county fairs in Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois. Your team will share at the Telling the Truth Saturday night youth rallies in Evansville, Indiana, each Saturday night you are there.

One evening you will eat at the historic “Log Inn”, Indiana’s oldest restaurant, which used to be a stage coach stop. Abraham Lincoln once stopped here for dinner.

The team will be housed in dorms. Showers are available. Laundry will be done using buckets, or at a laundromat at team member’s expense.

Spend a day at Holiday World, in Santa Claus, Indiana, and ride the “Voyage Roller Coaster”, voted the #1 Wooden Coaster on the Planet for three years in a row by Amusement Today! Located at the same park is SplashinSafari, which boasts the world’s longest water coaster, the “Wildebeest”, as well as “Pilgrims Plunge”, the world’s tallest water ride.

On one weekend the team goes to St. Louis, Missouri, to share at an inner city church. You will spend two days there and visit the historic Gateway Arch on the Mississippi River. Then you continue north to Hannibal, Missouri, the home town of Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer. You won’t have to white-wash a fence, but will enjoy walking around this scenic and historic town on the Mississippi River.

Project Expense: $1990 U.S. plus Registration Fee
