2007 Mongolia Missions Trip

2007 Mongolia Missions Trip - The Great Wall of China

Missions Trip Dates: June 23 – August 14 — Work/Evangelism

Make lifelong friends with Mongolian teens as you teach music, puppets and construction classes to them at the Teen Missions in Mongolia Boot Camp.

After Commissioning you travel to the Orlando International Airport and board a flight to Atlanta, Georgia. From Atlanta, your connecting flight takes you over western Canada, the Gulf of Alaska and the Aleutian Islands before arriving in Seoul, South Korea. Your journey continues as you fly over the Yellow Sea, Northern China and the Gobi Desert before arriving in Ulaan Bataar, the capital of Mongolia.

From here you travel two hours out of the city, to the grassy steppes where you will begin to set up Boot Camp and the Obstacle Course. Housing will be in tents; bathing and laundry will be done using a bucket.

During free time, you may barter in the markets for traditional costumes, stuffed camels and exotic guitars—just a few examples of the souvenirs available from your Mongolian adventure.

After your project, you will travel to Beijing, China for a two-night hotel stay where you will see the Great Wall, the Ming Tombs and Tiananmen Square.

Project Expense: $4490 U.S. plus Registration Fee

  1. exactly how much money do we need to fund raise?

    • Matthew, The cost is listed in the brochure. For flying teams, you will need to add $105 for fuel surcharges.

  2. im going on this trip 2! i was wondering if our group would supply us with bathing stuff like shampoo/conditioner. Cause if they are going to supply us with them, i wont need to bring it in my luggage, which would make my luggage less heavy.

  3. Too Shawn- Don,t let the guitar part be what convinces you to go on this trip, there are plenty of other cool trips too. But who knows we might not even get a chance to buy a guitar when we are there.
