Missions Trip to Trinidad

Mission Trip Dates: June 23 – August 10 — Work/Evangelism

Serve the Lord this summer on the island of Trinidad in the West Indies, off the coast of South America.

After training at the Lord’s Boot Camp, you bus to the Orlando International Airport and board a short flight to Miami. From Miami a flight takes you over Cuba and the Caribbean Sea to Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad. It is an hour long bus ride to Cunupia and your project with Triumphant Ministries.

The project is to continue construction on a church and pastor’s house. There will be opportunities to share Jesus through open-air evangelism and church services using music, puppets, dramas and testimonies. In Port of Spain the team may want to visit the Queens Park Savannah or wander down Frederick Street, the main shopping area, or Charlotte Street with it’s markets and shops.

Visiting Government House, on the grounds of the Botanical Garden, is also interesting. You will have time to take a trip to the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean and take a cool swim. Shopping may include brightly colored t-shirts, dolls and wood carvings.

Project Expense: $2890 U.S. plus Registration Fee

Is the 105 airline gas tax included in the 2995.? since it use to be 2890.00. Should that be by the sponsors or do we need to bring that in cash? Do we need malaria pills for this trip? Do we need to bring a bucket? Thanks

    • Diana, It was added to the cost and that is why it is now $2995. You can use sponsor’s money to cover it. Please check with your physician concerning malaria medication. Some will come with it and some won’t. Yes, you will need a bucket.
