Zimbabwe Sewing/Medical | Adult Missions Trip

2010 Zimbabwe Adult Missions TripDates: April 3 – 20 — Work/Evangelism

Following orientation you bus to Orlando International and board a flight to Dulles International in Washington, D.C., our nation’s capital. From there, an overnight flight takes you to Dakar, Senegal for refueling, proceeding to Johannesburg, South Africa and on to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. You will then travel by land for two hours to Mtshabezi, the home of Teen Missions in Zimbabwe.

You will be a tremendous blessing as you assist the Rescue Unit with some needed projects. Due to rampant inflation in the country, it has been difficult for many of the children around our Unit to have uniforms to attend school. You will be sewing school uniforms for these orphans who are eager to go to school and to learn. On the weekends you can assist the facilitators as they treat medical patients.

There will also be ample opportunities for playing games, sharing Bible stories and singing songs with the children. You will be a huge blessing and encouragement to our faithful staff. Enjoy a train trip to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. These beautiful falls were first discovered by David Livingstone in 1855. View the breathtaking waterfall known as the “Smoke that Thunders”.

Your team will have the opportunity to shop for national arts and crafts, baskets and colorful materials before you fly back to North America.

Contributions Equal to: $3290 U.S. plus Registration Fee
