much work being done Zambia Bridge Missions Trip

We are making good headway with the bridge project, but there’s still much work to do. On sunday we went to church at Funda & made many friends with the orphans. Team members had a lot of fun doing their presentation & many children accepted Christ. Glenn was the preacher at church & the team members did a short presentation including some Bimba songs. Most of our days lately have been filled with rock crushing, rock sorting, rock carrying & rock moving from one side of the river to the other. For days we have been mixing cement, 19 bags & there is much more to do. Liz has worked very hard crushing rock with the sledge hammer. In Luswishi we have 4 more days to complete the project. All the bridge poles are cemented, the ramp on this side of the briged is in place & we are working on getting cement & rock over to the other side of the river today so we can fill the trench that holds the cable. After the bridge structure is complete, hopefully in the next couple of days we can lay the 12 meter poles across the top. Everyone is working extremly hard. Continue to pray for good health, strength to complete the project & wisdom to do the bridge in the best possible way. Team members are doing well, but some are having colds. Thank you for your prayers.

  1. Sounds like a big project… I saw the most recent picture and couldn’t believe how tall and big the bridge was… Great job…
