The team has really had a busy week. We have been able to teach drama to several groups, share in two different church services (Leader Andy even preached for the Philippines service), share in street evangelism including passing out tracts, and begin a work project of painting several areas of the Youth For Christ building. Last night (Tuesday) we were able to share songs, puppets, testimonies, and a drama with the local people at a ‘gospel dinner’. Emily even learned a Chinese solo. Everyone loved the fact that we were making an effort to learn some of their language and eat their food!! The team is very healthy. We are all enjoying our times of Bible marking and evening devotions. We hope to complete the painting project in the next couple of days, take an evening to shop in the local ‘Ladies Market’, and practice some new dramas we learned from a visiting Canadian drama team called Drime. We continue to pray for many seeds to be planted and maybe the ability to harvest a few. Please pray with us, for the completion of our work project and many opportunities to share the gospel with the people of Hong Kong. We look forward to sharing the wordless book materials and balloons in the streets this weekend. The weather continues to be hot and humid with a bit more rain on occasion. We are looking forward to trying dragon fruit soon now that we know how to fix it!!
