Hello from the beautiful South Pacific! The team has settled back in at the YWAM base and are already hard at work on a new project. Since they did so well pouring concrete pads for water tanks in the tsunami area, the staff have asked us to pour a large (10X20 ft) pad for a large water tank for them. They team jumped right in gather rocks and digging footers. They are getting really good at hauling bags of cement! 🙂
Monday, we enjoyed a day in the capital shopping for souvenirs and some ate at McDonald’s while most of us enjoyed fresh fish and fries at the wharf. Everyone had a great time bartering and shopping the flea market.
Last night’s devotions were led by Maggie and she shared how God has been showing her that she needs to do her best both here and when she returns home. Alexa shared the night before and it was just as inspiring. The team sings so well together and they have been busy learning more skits to share when the opportunity arises. They are all eager to pray, sing and share their faith…Praise the Lord!!!
We have received two large batches of mail so far and the letters from home have really been a blessing. Your letters are being received!! 🙂
It is hard to believe that we only have a little over 10 short days left here. We have all grown to love the country and people of Samoa.
I had hoped to send some pictures, but did not bring my USB cable for the camera. I will see if someone has one we can use to upload some pictures at the internet cafe. Thank you again for all your prayers and support…we miss you all at home!
