Talofa from Samoa! It’s hard to believe we only have one week left here. Everyone agrees that time as gone by so quickly. We are working to finish a concrete pad at the base that will hold two 10,000 litre water tanks. The area we are concreting is 10 ft by 20 ft and 6 feet tall!! We are using rocks to build the outer wall. The boys (and girls) are amazed at the muscles they are developing! 🙂 We traveled to an Assembly of God Church yesterday with the YWAM DTS group and did a presentation there. Peter shared his testimony and we sang and did two dramas. One of the “highlights” was pushing the bus through the mud on the road to and from the church!

Yesterday, we had a time of testimony and praise with the team members. It was such a blessing to hear their testimonies and how God brought us all together to Samoa. What a great group of teens they are! We enjoyed a great devotion by Kayla L. on Saturday night and Alison on Friday night.

The Samoans are so amazed at how hard they work and that the girls work as hard as the boys! I think Alexa can carry a bag of cement better than most of the boys on our team. 🙂

This coming Thursday, we plan to go snorkeling and swimming. Everyone is excited to get to see the beautiful sea life along the coral reef here. I think Maggie and Seth T. are the most excited! 🙂 The team is also anxious to get back to town to stock up on sodas and snacks again.

Please remember the team in your prayers as half of them were struck by a stomach bug on Sunday. They are feeling better today, but still a little weak.

  2. The pictures are wonderful. Alexa always has been a tough girl, she’s had to keep up with two older brothers. 🙂 Keep smiling, we are all praying for the team, and excited to hear all about your adventures when we get you back home. We hope everyone is feeling better. Live your faith out loud, and know we’re all proud, and I am sure God is smiling as well. the Schneiders

  3. Truly what an awesome God we serve. We will be praying for health and strength for all of you. But most of all that you will be spiritually lifted up as you are serving the Lord in work and message, for His word will not return void. Keep your stick on the ice!!! Can’t wait to hear again.
