On Friday, Sep. 10th, we traveled to Didasko Orphanage in Tamara, Honduras, to present a clown presentation with dramas and games for National Children’s Day. We shared the wordless book and gave out some bracelets also. There were about 25 orphan children plus about 25 children from the nearby village. Candy was donated and it turned out to be a happy time for all. We had contact with this orphanage because one of our students, Melva, is doing her internship there.
On Saturday, Sep. 11th, we traveled to Intibuca, Honduras, where we visited with several families and pastors to do promotion for Boot Camp. In the evening, the students put on a missionary presentation and Chico preached a powerful sermon. We returned to the base on Sunday.
The same weekend, Sep. 11th and 12th, there was a retreat here at the base. There were two people who accepted Christ and one who rededicated his life to the Lord. Praise the Lord!
