Hello everyone,

It is really hard to believe that the year 2010 will soon be over. Praise God for His abundance of grace, mercy and blessings. I am excited to be able to share with you again what God is doing in Cameroon. He has faithfully watched over us–over our going out and our coming in; in our decision making and our health. I have many reasons to say thank you to our Lord for all these things. I do admit that at times I find the many challenges difficult, but God is always by my side to make sure that I do not give up-Hallelujah!

I have kept busy with visiting our three Rescue Units each month. I help the facilitators run the monthly camps for the orphans. Traveling by motor bike is not always easy due to the condition of the roads or the weather. However, these challenges keep me strong and courageous in the ministry of serving God. I have also been having a lot of fun with the orphans.

I have been experiencing many new things in my personal life with Teen Missions. I was very blessed to celebrate my 30th birthday with the Adult foot washing team last February. The team made a very large chocolate cake and presented gifts to me as well. It was a wonderful blessing that I will not soon forget.

Ministry and evangelism work has been successful. We are looking forward to the opening of the 4th Rescue Unit here in Bamenda. Papa Tom Maher, some missionary friends and I visited the proposed site for the unit. It is a seven hour drive from Bamenda City going towards the Nigerian borders. We a had fun time driving over the rolling hills and mountains.

We enjoyed the big challenge this year of running our boot camp without anybody coming from the States to help us. I really saw God’s favor on us–the boot camp was a great success. We had ninety Cameroonian youth on five teams. I was so busy running to the city to get supplies and teaching boot camp classes–praise God for strength!

Our Bible Missionary and Work Training Center (BMW) is also running well. We just started term 1 last September with twelve students, two new and ten old, and we are still expecting some more students to come. I am teaching the missions class this time.

I ask that you continue to pray for the ministry here. I praise God for everyone in my family. Please pray also for me as I trust God for a wife that will serve with me in the ministry of Teen Missions. Pray also for good health, financial support, God’s wisdom to do His will, guidance, safety and balance in my family life.

Thank you for all your prayers and support.

God bless you all in Christ’s name,

Vitalis Fon
