2009 North Ireland Missions TripDates: June 9 – July 28 — Work/Evangelism

Top of the morning to you! Come enjoy the people and beautiful sights as you serve the Lord in Ireland this summer. After Boot Camp training, you bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight to Chicago, Illinois. You will then fly across Lake Michigan, northeastern Canada, and the Atlantic Ocean to Dublin, the capital of Ireland.

From the airport, a 30-mile bus ride takes you to Ireland Outreach, (an 18th century estate) in the village of Dalkey, just over 10 miles south of Dublin. Your project is to stucco a shed building and to landscape the property.

Housing will be in tents and showers are available. There are coin-operated washing machines available, or you always have your handy bucket.

When not working, evangelism among the Irish will be the order of the day as you use puppets, music and drama to share Christ’s love. While in Dalkey, you may hike up Dalkey Hill for a panoramic view. Souvenirs such as Waterford crystal, Belleek ceramics, famous shillelaghs, Irish sweaters, woolen items and linens can be found on a shopping trip to Dublin.

Estimated Project Expense: $3590 U.S. plus $30 Registration Fee

  1. hi,im from ireland and i was just wondering if there are any teen missions in ireland?

  2. im so excited and ready to go!!

  3. Hi, I am 14 years old and would love to go on a mission trip this summer, but I have never been on a mission trip before and I don’t really know how to bring it up to my parents, any ideas how to tell them I would like to go?

    • Sofie, First off, pray about it. Then go and talk with them. Ask their opinion. If this is what God has for you, He will open their hearts to it.

  4. when is the dead line to register?

  5. I would love to do something like this, but I am not sure if I can afford it. Do we pay the $3590 out of our own pocket or just the $30 registration fee?

    • Adam, You pay the $30 registration fee yourself. We provide prayer cards and letters to help you raise the project expense and watch how the Lord provides!

  6. I’m sorry, I didn’t receive that whole message?

  7. I have a lot of questions about the trip. Do you have an e-mail that I can send these questions to?

  8. Hey guys whoever is going on this trip should facebook me so we can get to know each other before going on our trip this summer! =)

  9. Is there any way I could get a trip for free? I can’t afford anything expensive

    • Nicky, Sorry, but none of the trips are free. Even the staff kids have to raise support. We do provide prayer cards and letters to help you raise your support.

  10. How long is the trip? Is it really from June 9-July 28? I want to go on a missions trip this summer, but since it will be my first I think this is kind of long. Do you have any shorter trips?
    Thanks! 🙂

  11. Is it too late to register? I think this looks really cool, but how long are the trips? Thanks1 🙂
