Greetings from Hope School! We are enjoying our time here. Last night we were taken out for falafel and cokes for supper. It was really good! Solomon, our missionary and headmaster of the school, is very hospitable and very thankful for the team being here. The weather is hot and dry, about 85-90 degrees.Every morning after breakfast, KP goes out to the chicken houses and collects eggs from the over 4000 chickens here at the school. They are sold to people and restaurants all over the area to help fund the school. All over the property there are evidences of past TMI teams including two of the chicken houses. We have enjoyed having our devotions on the hill just knowing that somewhere in the valley below, David fought Goliath. We tease about having our own David and Goliath…Ian and Darin! We are looking forward to going to Jerusalem on the weekend as well as having a fun night with the Bethlehem Bible College team before they leave. Our project is coming well. We have a good portion of the painting done inside the hallways and entrance. We are taking down the old chainlink fence, painting the posts, and resetting some fo them. The new chain is going up already. It looks really nice. We area also repairing and rebuilding part of the wall with huge rocks, some three meters in length. We are the new attraction for the area! Many stop by to see what the Americans are doing.Thank you for your continued prayers for our team.
