OA II Update-11025

Dear OAMSSM II Parents,
We bring you greetings from the awesome land of Zambia. We are catching up on some needed rest after our long flights and time spent in Lusaka overnight – PTL! Today, we worked on the motorbikes preparing them for our trip to the ‘bush’ to begin our ministry God has called us to. This past Saturday, we ministered in the Sunday School here at the TMI Ndola base and loved it. This past Sunday we ministered in a local church – PTL for our brothers and sisters in Christ here in Zambia. We had a fantastic church service with these dear brothers and sisters in Christ. PTL! Tomorrow – Tuesday, we will be finishing up the repairs on the motorbikes, practicing with the motorcycles here on the base and on the Zambia roads. Please keep us in prayer for safety and for the motorbikes to keep running. Thanks! We will be departing for the bush Wednesday morning, so you will not hear from us for about a week (no internet cafe in the bush). You fantastic teens are doing great and have a greeting for you:
Jessi Vaden says: “Is missing home, but the freezing cold nights and the beautiful warm days in Zambia are where I’m supposed to be.”
Taylor Boltjes writes: “Africa has a way of showing you how truly worthless you are without God.”
Graham Nelson says: “If you have to pick one thing I’ve learned so far is that to completely serve God with everything you have, you have to give up everything you have.”
Jay Jensen writes: “I miss seeing the familiar faces of home, but once we see the faces of the orphans, I know I will feel at home. This where I am supposed to be.”
Andrew Manche says: “It’s been a challenging few weeks. God has changed me in so many ways. I can’t wait to see the orphans, and see God change lives. I hope I don’t get malaria.”
Matthew Huff writes: “These last few weeks have been life changing and eye opening and has encouraged me in my relationship with God to serve Him with all I have.”
Sarah Martin says: “TMI has changed my life. I have seen God work in amazing ways. I now live only for Him.”
Kerry Ward writes: “This trip has challenged me in so many ways, yet God proves Himself faithful every time.”
Abigail Barnaby says: “Out of all the countries I have visited, Zambia has a whole different feel (in a good way). God is so good :-). I miss you all.”
Joey Wermer writes: “Zambia is amazing.”
Jillian, Eric, Moe, and Joe send their love to each and every one of you – we praise our Lord for you! đŸ™‚
Our lady leaders feed us well – PTL for their labor of love đŸ™‚ We are excited to leave for the bush and be with the orphans. PTL for the privilege of serving HIm. Thank you for your prayer support as you are a vital part of our OAMSSM II team.
Loving you all in Jesus,

  1. Thank you so very much for the news from Zambia….what a blessing to read what each team member has to say! Abigail B, I am comforted to know that you are where you feel God’s calling. . that is that “different feel”. Praying constantly for all of you and your safety bringing souls to Christ! Love you!

  2. Praise the Lord and prayers for the OA/MSSMII team, their motorcycles, healthy food, freedom from disease, ease of loneliness for home, for being a conduit for His Works in the Bush, for the Orphan Angels reached and the multitudes unable to be reached.
