South Africa-11071—2

11071-south-pt-funGreetings to Sunny Florida:

Since I have last emailed we have moved from our base near Pretoria to the side of the country outside Kruger Park. The actual town is called Hazyview. Just before packing and leaving we took our kids to a squatter camp ( a place where people have illegally put up shacks) and assisted our MSSM with their program. We did our presentation and played with the kids of the village. We traveled the six hours to our new location and everyone is very happy as it is considerably warmer here than our first outreach. We did have a small detour along the way as we had a flat tire coming out of the mountains and I couldn’t get the lug nuts off. I called the Toyota truck dealership in the nearest town and they had us on the way in no time. Hosanna Church is a wonderful place and we will be seeing lots of kids as well as working with elderly shut in’s doing works of grace.
Molly Wadman’s update:
This week has been a very exciting week for our team. We went to a squatter camp (place where people live illegally) and brought 33 people to Christ. We also brought 41 people to Christ at the Hosana Christian Fellowship Church. The kids have been very cute and sweet, they have touched my heart so much! We have been getting along better as a team, and I speak for everyone when I say we have been blessed beyond imagination! Our whole team seems to be enjoying themselves here in South Africa! I hope you enjoyed this report.

  1. Wow!! My heart leaps for joy at the sound of sooooo many souls changed for eternity. That is what it is all about. And not to mention the change that is taking place in you all as a team and individuals. I am sure outsiders can see the love between you all and that is what is drawing them into the love of Jesus. Keep up the awesome work! You are blessing the Lord too. Praying for you all, but especially Abby. I just can’t wait to squeeze you tight!

    Love, Mommy

  2. So wonderful to hear the work the Lord is doing in you and through you. Can’t wait to hear all about it when you get home. God bless you all.

  3. Greetings to South Africa team!!! Good to hear people are getting along and growing! And you seem to always be on the move! We keep praying for all of you. Love you Samara sweetie!! Glad the flat tire didn’t slow you down more – God provides, even through Toyota dealerships!!!
