Zimbabwe Last Report-11026

11026-zimbabweGreetings! This will be our last report from Zimbabwe! Last night, Sipho Sibanda made our entire team a traditional Zimbabwe meal including sadza, collard greens, rice, soup, salad (which is very similar to our American coleslaw), and caterpillars. It was delicious! We had a homemade cake and special Mazeo drink for dessert. We then headed to Mt. Sinai for our last team devotions together. Claimet shared his testimony and what our team meant to him, and then we shared American smores with the Zimbabwe staff. They LOVED them! Each of the team members and leaders took turns telling their favorite memory of Claimet, and several people (including our dear 6 ft tall Claimet) shed tears. It was an amazing way to end such a special trip. We all thanked the ZImbabwe staff for opening up their home to us, and making us feel so welcome. We will never forget the people we’ve met here, or the great needs that the Lord has placed upon our hearts to take back to America. We each feel a personal responsibility to go home and tell others of these amazing people, and seek more missionaries to come here.

This morning, we woke the girls up as usual, and they’ve already begun stacking their sleeping bags and pillows for the orphans. We will finish baking our travel food, put our dorm rooms back together, and be ready for our 16 passenger van set to arrive at 8pm this evening. Though our team has encountered many struggles with our traveling arrangements, we know that the Lord foresaw all of these things, and He is still in complete control. By the time we arrive home, we will have traveled 11 days, through 6 countries, 3 continents and slept on many airport floors! =) We are blessed beyond measure. Love and blessings to you all! WE’RE COMING HOME!!!!!!!!!!! And… it’s our LAST day here in Zimbabwe!!!!!!!!!!!
Always in our Hearts,
Claimet, Bobbi, Suzanne and the girls

Ephesians 3:20, “Now to Him who is able to immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus thoughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen!”
