Dear Teen Missions Team,
Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
I thank our God on every remembrance of you and your courageous Teen Team that came to Grace Village Haiti and did such wonderful works. The same night your team arrived they joined the crusade at Grace Village; assisting a visiting Canadian Team and Pastor Olu in making final preparations for a week long evangelistic crusade. We have enclosed the video that the Canadian Team made of their 3 week missions trip during the time when your team was at Grace Village.
Unfortunately your Teen Missions one month trip was cut short to two weeks, but that did not prevent your team from accomplishing so very much! In the two weeks in Haiti, your group worked on several projects including: painting one whole side of the Grace Children’s Hospital; building a fence around the destroyed Guest House which has now become a demolition/construction site; cleaning of the tent city bathrooms; building 12 shelves; completing a French drain for Lord’s Kitchen; re-furbishing the trash receptacles around Grace Village, and finally helping to build a home for a family that suffered loss from the 2010 earthquake! I am in great appreciation of what God did through your Teen group!
The team did not limit themselves to hard labor only, they ministered to several people in the camp by visiting the tent city, praying for the sick, playing with the children from Bloc 11, and sharing a short word at the church service. I know the people’s lives that your youth touched will never be the same; the people from Grace Village tent camp will always remember the love and kindness shown to them!
It grieves my heart that some of your teens became sick and that your trip had to be cut short. We look forward to your return sometime.
May the Lord richly bless you your entire Teen Mission Group.
Thank you for what the Lord did through you all at Grace Village. We all look forward to working together again soon!
In His Service Together,
Bishop Joel R Jeune
