Sasamba, Masautso (Fall 2011)

Dear Friends,

Greetings from Malawi, the warm heart of Africa, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

I am Masautso Sasamba, a missionary serving the Lord with Teen Missions in Malawi as a facilitator. Many thanks to you all who are adding fire in my ministry by your prayer. You have been a big help in my ministry that I should continue walking in faith with God.

Masautso Sasamba

For three years we have been serving the Lord with Teen Missions as staff at the Wellman Family Rescue Unit.  Since I have begun serving the Lord with Teen Missions I have really learned lots of things, especially in spiritual growth.

I do enjoy serving the Lord among the orphans because I see that my work is great help for them. I have been considering them in their need personally, mainly about their spiritual life. In my heart I feel that Jesus is preeminent in their life as the Bible says in Matthew 6:33, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” It does encourage me to share Christ with them. Then they will have all the things they need according to His purpose.

At the Rescue Unit we have a lot of ministries which we are doing with the orphans. We also have time to share Christ to some other people through open-air presentation and door-to-door evangelism. The orphans are eager to go out and share the Word of God. God really helps them in growing spiritually. Daily God teaches me lots of things. God guides me to have faith in Him and share my faith with different people. I have also had the opportunity to teach the youth during weekends. God’s really working in my ministry. I do like to share the Word of God in different areas. Even when I go home, I take that chance to share with my family. I also share my ministry at my home church. I have the desire to share the Word of God with different tribes.

Indeed God is so good and He is faithful in doing great things in my ministry. Please keep praying for me that God would help me in doing ministry. I Corinthians 15: 58 has been a great encouragement to me. Pray that I should be steadfast and unmovable, for God has great things at the end of this life.

All in all I would like to praise God for giving me the chance to become His child, and for making me  His servant who can serve Him through this ministry. Lord willing, I will keep on serving the Lord through Teen Missions.

Stay blessed!  In Christ’s service,

Masautso Sasamba
