Bland, Bob and Bernie (Winter 2012)

This prayer letter shares what we do all year. We praise the Lord for what He has done. TMI continues to grow. The following stats show His work:

23 Countries Working In 32 Overseas Bases

Bobb Family

24 Bible Schools

38 Boot Camps

39 Orphan Rescue Units

8 Matron’s Units

112 Sunday Schools

19 Sunday School Meeting Pavilions

The Bland family had a wonderful Christmas. Cathy, Randy and daughter, Catherine Noel, were here from Pennsylvania. Robin and Maxine and daughter, Tara Brenna, and husband Bobbie, were here. They only live a few miles away. Joshua, Cathy and Randy’s son, lives with us so he was here. It was a wonderful time.

Bernie and I have been in good health recently. However, Bernie has to have foot surgery this month. Pray for her. My brother, Bill, went to be with the Lord on November 23 in Chillicothe, Ohio. We went up for the funeral. Dr. Randy Stringer, Cathy’s husband, preached at the funeral. It was very good. His wife, Esther, lives in a rest home in Chillicothe. They had been married 66 years on the day he passed away. He is greatly missed. I’m the only one left of four boys, Tom, Bill, Dwight and Bob Bland.

Bob has told you about what is happening in Teen Missions, but not much about us! We are both getting older every day, as you are, but love the Lord and His work He has given us to do. It is a blessing each day! He has given us 64 years together this June 11th and we have lived most of it sharing His love with teenagers. God is so good.

We appreciate you all so much and how you shower your blessings on us. Thanks for being so faithful to us.

In His Love, Bob and Bernie

  1. When I was 15 I went to Butuan, Phillipians with Teen missions. I was on the bus that was in the accident in Flagstaff,Arizona. I have been licensed to preach with the Assemblies of God since 1997. I planted and Pastor a church in South whitley, Indiana. I was hoping to connect with anyone of my team mates who were on the trip and in the accident. Thanks for your sacrifice all these years! It has made am eternal difference in so many lives.
