“My flesh and heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart, my portion forever.” Psalm 73:26

With one week of Boot Camp and our summer adventure down, I believe many of the team leaders and members are finding this verse to be true. God is the strength of our hearts when we are discouraged after falling in the Slough every day, or even after rushing around everywhere for a week. In the past three days, the team, as a whole, have grown so much! Today, we got Carli, Shanti, Andrew and Talon over the Wall!

We have been continuing classes in drama, music, guitar (which some of the kids are very, very good at!), and advanced evangelism. They have learned how to work as one unit and as a team-encouraging each other when one is down.

We thank you for your many prayers and ask that you continue to pray for us as we start the last part of our training.

Meredith Chatfield – Boot Camp has been really hard, but it couldn’t have come at a better time in my life! I have learned a lot about myself here, how strong I can be when I ASK God. I cannot imagine a better job than being a full-time missionary. I still have a lot to learn, but the discipline is how I am learning. Every time you say “yes” to God, you say “no” to something else.

Taylon Saylor – While I have been at Boot Camp, I have grown closer to God through my devotions. I have also learned to work more as a team, than as an individual.
