The Madagascar team is doing well and has gotten into the groove of Boot Camp—now that it is soon coming to an end. Emma Weme, Matthew Harbin and Courtney Franco got a chance to climb up into the Prayer Tower and pray over all the teams and team members, as well as the Teen Missions worldwide ministry.
We haven’t had the pool again, but have enjoyed swimming in the lake and doing the “swamp OC” (water OC)—a mini version of the Obstacle Course. The lady leader’s cooking class provided some “nummies” to the team with the favorite being cinnamon rolls.
We are all looking forward to the Missions Conference on Friday and Saturday, especially the chocolate milkshake and alligator-shaped pizza on Saturday night.
The excitement of the Commissioning Service on Sunday night and traveling to Madagascar on Tuesday has everyone asking a lot of questions about packing, traveling and what it will be like when we get there. Some of the kids want to be sure that family and friends who are coming to the service know that the parents can arrive after lunch and the other visitors can arrive after 5 PM. Hope you are all ready for this! Be sure to go to the Teen Missions website (www.teenmissions.org) for the Visitor Guidelines so that you can have a great time with us! See you soon!
