New Zealand — Safe Arrival 6/28

The New Zealand team has arrived safely at the Opawa Church in Christchurch on 6/27 after 19 hours of flying. We are getting settled in and will begin our project shortly.

Christos McDowell – The trip was very stressful and exhausting. Sleep is going to be treasured for a while. New Zealand is peaceful and gorgeous. I cannot wait to start exploring. It is truly “adventure time” being here. Hopefully, we will shine with God’s brilliance upon the people who have been devastated by the earthquake.

Zak Pronko – The last days of Boot Camp were tiring, although we had a very nice Commissioning service. Traveling was very long and tiring, but so worth it in the end. Once we arrived at the airport, the views were breathtaking. It is a blessing to have the opportunity to travel to a unique part of the world and spread the love and Word of God to the hurt “Kiwis” of New Zealand. There seems to be so much to look forward to while we are here, and I am more excited to begin this adventure. Everyone is really coming together as a team and I can’t wait to find out how God will use us during the remainder of this trip.
