South Africa Preteen Mission Trip

South Africa Mission Trip

Come to this mission trip to South Africa—a multi-cultural country on Africa’s southern tip. After Commissioning you will bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight to Atlanta, Georgia. From Atlanta you continue across both the North and South Atlantic oceans to  Johannesburg, the capital of South Africa.

Be a part of the first Preteen Foot Washing Team, serving the Lord as you wash the feet of children who, although close to you in age, have so little. They will be delighted to get a new pair of shoes and socks to protect their feet. You will enjoy playing games and sharing the love of Jesus with them. There will also be opportunities to help with small work projects at the Teen Missions in South Africa Bible, Missionary & Work Training Center.

It will be winter there, so be sure to bring warm clothing. Enjoy a safari to Pilanesburg National Game Park, where you may see the “Big Five” animals; lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and water buffalo. You may also see others such as giraffe, baboons, zebras and antelope. Shopping for hand-crafted items such as wooden animal carvings, canes, brightly-colored clothing, baskets, dolls, and beaded jewelry will help you remember your time in South Africa.
