Dates: June 21-August 10, 2013 (#13020)

Adventure, excitement and ministry await you this summer, as you serve the Lord in Spain and Gibraltar! After completing Boot Camp, you bus to the Orlando International Airport and board a flight to Newark, New Jersey. Your connecting flight takes you across the Atlantic Ocean to Madrid, the capital of Spain. From the airport, you bus six hours south to Malaga, located on the Mediterranean Sea, then to your project site in Torremolinos.

Here the team will be involved in renovating buildings at Villa Hospitality. You will use your Spanish as you

share the Good News of Jesus on the beaches and in the parks using music, puppets, dramas and testimonies. After your project you will travel south to Gibraltar, located on the southern coast of Spain, at the entrance to the Mediterranean Sea. The British used the Rock of Gibraltar as a military fortification during World War II, to control the shipping on the Mediterranean. During free time you may enjoy a swim in the beautiful waters of the Mediterranean.

You will be entertained by the many monkeys that live on the rock. There will be an opportunity to shop for wood carvings, t-shirts or beautiful lladro figurines.

Estimated Project Expense between: $4390-4590 U.S. plus $30 Registration Fee

  5. No Sami, you don’t need to know Spanish. Many of the kids, teens, and younger adults in Europe speak English though, so it’s usually not a problem. 🙂

  6. Do you have to know Spanish to go on this trip ?
