Only three more days! Thursday marks our last day of Boot Camp Training. Friday and Saturday are packing days. There is so much to do to get ready to leave for Borneo but we are all very excited to get going. We had a great 4th of July here. We had a “cookout” with burgers and fries. Bob Lane, the Vice President of Teen Missions, entertained us throughout the day with fire works and other displays of Patriotism. During Rally, he rode in to the Big Top on a 4-wheeler decorated with flags and sparklers! It was quite a show. After rally, we all are ICE COLD watermelon! What a treat!!! We had a work day yesterday. We helped put equipment away and planted lots of citrus trees on the property.
Thank you all for the prayers and letters! Lord wiling, the next time you hear from us, we will be in Borneo!!! Keep praying for good health and safety so we can accomplish great things for the Lord this summer.
Camdon Steele: These last two weeks at The Lord’s Boot Camp have really been life-changing. I have learned to rely on God and I have also experienced a little of what others live with everyday–like no electricity, flushing toilets, or a place to live. Boot Camp has really humbled me and taught me to rely 100% on God. I am so glad to be here.
Jessica Wiggins: Boot Camp is a wonderful experience meant to train you for the field, and teach you ways to share God with other people. I love the team unity centered around Jesus. Thank you! PLEASE PRAY THAT JESSICA’S PASSPORT GETS HERE BEFORE THE TEAM FLIES.
