Team Ecuador has arrived safely at the Teen Missions base in Ecuador! We had a long two days of traveling and switching planes, but God has been faithful (as He always is) and we landed in Quito about 2pm today (3pm Florida time). All 37 pieces of our luggage made it as well, and that was definitely a miracle as we had to switch planes in San Jose, Costa Rica (which was an hour late) in about 15 minutes for our connecting flight to Quito and all our luggage had to be moved in the process. Our plane to Quito waited for us to get there before taking off.
All the team members, leaders and leaders’ children are doing well. The cold weather at the TMI base in Latacunga was a welcome change after the hot, muggy, mosquito infested climate at bootcamp. We were also greeted with a delicious supper cooked by the the Ecuador TMI staff and students on the base. Thank you for all the prayers given during the end of bootcamp and traveling. We are very thankful to be safe at our project site, and we are looking forward to what the Lord has in store for Team Ecuador in the coming days and weeks. More updates will be given soon along with team members’ testimonies. Please continue praying!
