Snell, Andy and Carrie (Fall 2012)

Dear Family and Friends,

Another TMI summer has come and gone. The leaders and teens came to the Lord’s Boot Camp and were trained to be missionaries and went to many countries and even in the States to serve the Lord. The reports have been coming in about how many people have come to the Lord through their efforts.

Cookie Command 2012

This year we did things a little different. We had the opportunity to stay here in Florida and help with summer staff. During Boot Camp we had responsibilities helping to run the program. Carrie was doing Munchkin Missions which is the daycare for the staff kids, while I was keeping the pool clean after all the dirty bodies went in and performing other odd jobs that needed to be done. Even though we did not have a team, we did have a huge amount of responsibilities while the teams were on the field. Our phones were manned 24 hours a day from the day the leaders arrived to when the last team member had gone home after the team. Phones were not the only thing that needed to be covered, there were lawns to mow, busses to drive, vehicles to repair, plumbing to fix, airport runs, cleaning rooms for teams coming in for Debrief, teaching Debrief classes and the list goes on and on.

You might ask what did Bekah and Drew do this summer? Bekah and her Girl Scout troop took a trip to Washington D.C where

On the Obstacle Course.

they celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts. As you may recall from our last letter, Drew was getting ready to do his first team. He had a great time even though it was hard on him sleeping in a tent when his home was just 50 yards away. It was also hard on Mom and Dad. After his team they both went up to Illinois to spend the summer with their cousins. They had a great time with family and were able to do a lot of fun things.

BMW Students Fall 2012.

Carrie and I are continuing to work in the BMW and Conference Center this fall and it seems that it will be a busy fall. After the teens were all gone, we took a few days off to recuperate before the storm hit again. The new term for the BMW began with 11 new students bringing the total to 25, 18 of which are girls. They have been working around the property cleaning up and getting things ready for retreats before all the staff got back from Deputation. They have proven to be hard workers with good attitudes and ready to serve the Lord. There have been calls already from groups that want to reserve a spot for a retreat.

We want to take this moment to thank all of you for your continued prayers and support. You are always there for us, to lift us up to the Lord when we need it the most. May the Lord bless you just as you have blessed us these past five years.

With grateful hearts,

Andy, Carrie, Bekah & Drew
