Dear Family & Friends,
Greetings from our home to yours. Our trip to North East Europe went well. Betty calculated that we drove 17,000 kilometers from
Southern France to Northern Finland. Our health stayed strong and the van gave us no problems.
Betty and I were blessed by the many dear Christians we met who shared the love of Christ. I was asked to speak at an all girls camp in Germany and an African Church service in Finland.
Our special blessing was when we had time to visit the orphans home for teenage girls,
over 50 of whom were saved from traffickers. They were very excited when we brought them some food supplies. There were some M&Ms that the girls found most enjoyable. It is hard to express the joy Betty and I felt as we were leaving and told them we loved them very much and that we prayed for them each day.
We visited the team in Germany and went with them, and our German friends, to a 900 year old church. Betty and I found our visits with the missionary to be an encouragement to them, when they saw that we were much older than them. We are so blessed that God has given us the health to continue on in His service.
Betty had surgery on her left hand. She had trigger finger with her middle finger and it would lock up. Surgery went well. Thanks for your prayers and support.
James 1:27 The Christian who is pure and without fault; from God the Father’s point of view, is the one who takes care of orphans and widows and who remains true to the Lord not soiled and dirtied by his contact with the world. Please pray and support the orphans.
