Hello Family & Friends,
Happy 2013 everyone!! I hope you all had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. I visited my family and friends in Central Florida until the 27th of December and then drove to North Carolina for my friends’ wedding— small, but very nice. After the wedding, I drove to Scaly Mountain, NC, to visit a family who are former staff of Teen Missions. I enjoyed the visit and really enjoyed the colder weather and going zip-lining. After a good break, it is now time to be back at work.
A look back at some of the things that happened in 2012: led the Trinidad team; started working in the Mail Room of Teen Missions, mailing out support packets, newsletters and the 90,000 brochures of the 2013 Teen Missions teams. It was a lot of work and there were some very long days to get the mailing done before Thanksgiving. In the middle of that I went out to the West Coast to help promote TMI at the Winter Jam concerts in different cities. We enjoyed driving to the different states—California, Arizona, Utah, Idaho and Oregon. We also got to stop in Bryce City and go sightseeing. We saw a lot of snow and enjoyed the beautiful sights and we were so amazed at God’s handiwork.
At the time of this writing, we already have over 480 kids registered to go on teams this summer and the registrations still keep coming in every day. I have been busy on getting the packets mailed out for each kid that signs up. Also, I have been busy trying to get the mailing of 12,000 end-of-the-year tax receipts out to everyone. Everyone in the office is busy doing all their responsibilities.
I now want to ask your help. I have talked about my 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, how it has been great to have and also let other people use it who don’t have a car. I thank God everyday for it. I still owe $3,000 dollars on it. This summer I won’t be going on a team so I won’t be needing to raise money for a team. Therefore, I can focus on paying off the car. If you want to send money for my car please fill out the coupon below and indicate it is for the car.
Thank you again for everything, for the finances and prayer. God Bless you!!
