Team Zambia has been hard at work attending concrete mixing, block laying, digging and drama classes. Sunday brought a welcome relief with an easier schedule and a swim in the pool. Sunday morning, Boot Camp had a practice Bible quiz-off. Lauren and Andy did an awesome job jumping to their feet five times before any other team. Both Judah and Andy are willing servants when it comes to getting water and cleaning. Andy is preparing a sermon for our presentation and Judah will be giving a testimony. Our team is very close knit, praying for and encouraging one another. Team Zambia is staying well, except for sore muscles, bug bites and blisters. This week, we will continue to have drama class with Perry as the star. Our team presentation is coming together with Wesley, Ayla and Peter leading on their guitars. God is really working in team members’ lives here at Boot Camp,as many of the kids come forward for prayer.
Fiona Glaser—Due to various reasons, I have been living with my grandparents since I was a small child. I am so thankful that my grandparents would constantly tell me that I was God’s little girl. For this reason, I come to know God as my heavenly Father.
Ethan Kanagy—At about 5 or 6, I said the simple prayer to accept Jesus into my heart. But after a long time, I never felt like I truly was Christian. I always had that little bit of doubt. I started to rebel against anything my parents wanted me to do and that included church. I came to TMI not really wanting to come, but I did. And at the third rally, I felt the Holy Spirit begin to work in me and I went up to the altar and asked Him to take full control of my life. And now I feel that happiness that everyone has been trying to show me that comes with giving your life to the Lord.
