Peru Is Working Hard

Greetings from hot and humid Pucallpa, Peru! We are excited to report the progress of the Pastor´s house. The footers and foundation for the pillars have been dug and Thursday afternoon they began to cut rebar to put down in preparation for pouring concrete. The dirt is like clay, so we praise the Lord that He has given us wonderful, dry weather to work in so that we can get the foundation poured. Everyone is a little sore from shoveling and moving dirt, however. 😉 On Tuesday night, the church had a quick birthday celebration for Casey Como (turning 13) and Antoinette Spaulding (turning 16). They made popcorn and brought cake! It was a fun experience meeting other members of the church and playing with the children as well. Last night at Bible Study, Jessica Wiggins shared her testimony and we were encouraged by her honesty and willingness to serve. Continue to pray for the team as they work on the project…pray for safety and teamwork, and also for wisdom for the leaders.

  1. We are praying for your team and we are proud of how the Lord is using you Jessica. We think of you every day. We love you.

  2. I hope everyone is doing well. Our family is praying for the teams safety and that God would use them to be a huge blessing to the people of Peru! Miss my boy, Christopher so much! I look forward to see him in a couple of weeks. With much love and prayer, Amy Hristov
