We are humbled by God’s grace in allowing us to be a part of his end-time harvest. This week, together with the Scotland team and local teens we gave 743 surveys and saw 63 decisions for Christ while giving away over 157 Bibles! To God be the glory! We attended fairs in Richland County Illinois, Gibson County Indiana and Posey County Indiana.
Indiana—Over 700 Have Heard The Gospel After Week One
We have many amazing stories of young and old praying to receive Christ with tears. We have also witnessed people young and old who know they are headed for hell but are not willing or ready to make a decision at this time… and still others who are openly against any knowledge of God or His Gospel.
Needless to say, we are learning a lot and the team is growing closer daily. On Saturday we attended a youth summit hosted by TTT that included some great information from local ministries around Evansville. We also received additional training from TTT and met more local teens. A local pizzaria came to TTT and made all the pizza we could eat right here for us!
On Sunday, we visited two churches in the morning and one church in the evening, giving presentations at each. Our team sang together with Scotland and presented the drama Cage led by Aaron Wiggins. We also enjoyed a visit to the Four Freedoms Monument along the Ohio River in downtown Evansville.
On Monday, we plan to enjoy our sightseeing day at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana.
So the fairs have been going very well! And spiritually I think everyone has been growing a lot, which is awesome. Everyone’s also very excited to go to Holiday World, it’s kind of the best day off ever! There has been a lot of bonding and we’ve been getting along with Scotland very well. —Shami Carroll
Going to the fairs has been a good experience. We’ve had 700 some surveys and 63 decisions for Christ. Talking to people I don’t know has been a stretch but it’s been a good time. Close to the end of one of the fairs I had the opportunity to lead a teen to Christ. — Luke Hochstetler
