The team had a great time in Fenestrelle. We arrived to Camping Serre Marie in Fenestrelle Monday about noon. The team did their first presentation in town that Monday evening. The people enjoyed it so much they wanted to know when they would be back.
Tuesday the team visited Fort Fenestrelle, the largest fortified structure in Europe and second largest in the world. The tour guide and the two French women that joined our tour group heard the gospel and testimonies all day long. God was certainly speaking to them and they had lots of questions.
Wednesday the team did more evangelism in town, both morning and evening. Many people came to listen. People were even telling others to be quiet so they could hear better. The owners of the store where we shopped sent us back with free pizza for the team that night. The team did not want to leave Fenestrelle because they had such a warm welcome.
This morning we packed up again and got on a bus to Torino (Turin), where we, the Powell family, live. We are staying in a youth hostel. Already a few team members have shared with other youth in the hostel about who we are and what we are doing here. Torino, a city of 3 million, is a big change to the small mountain towns we have been in. There are plenty of places where we can share with crowds over the next few days.
I have had the best time of my life here and without a doubt want to serve God with everything I have. Wherever He calls me to go, I am beyond excited! I miss you mom.
God is doing a lot in the Teen Missions Italy group. We are spreading the love and truth of God throughout all of Italy. Also God is making us into a family. God is doing powerful things in the Italy team.
