Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ from your brother and servant, Ocen Moses, of the most high God. I am a Ugandan from the north part of the country and one of the staff at the Koboko Base of Teen Missions In Uganda which is located in the Nile Region District. In Uganda, I was once a Teen Missions In Uganda Bible School student from 2010 to 2012. After graduation, I joined staff and was sent to serve at the Koboko base where I work with the orphans.
God is doing wonderful and great work in my life. I have seen God coming through for me as sometimes in ministry there are challenges, but still I have learned that God does not change—He remain the same. God is God.
Well, as ministry is concerned, I am also doing prison, hospital, and personal evangelistic ministry. Many people are coming to know Christ. The first Saturday in October I was doing personal evangelism together with my brother, Quinto, and we shared the Word of God and six people came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Having the opportunity to work with orphans has really blessed my life. I didn’t know much about the challenges they go through. I thank God so much for what He has taught me through the orphans. They are children who lack someone to love them and show them what to do as they grow up. Since we have been ministering to them, they now feel they have somebody to speak to them somebody to teach them. They are coming to know Christ as their Savior and we are seeing daily changes in most of them as we teach them the Bible and have them do memory verses.
Motorcycle Sunday School Mission (MSSM): We have a lot of programs with them on Saturdays. We teach them phonics, play games and share Bible stories with them. We started doing this ministry of recently and the kids are enjoying it a lot.
I want to thank God as we serve Him in this ministry as He is bringing many to Him.
About myself, I have been continuing to have stomach and body pains but God has been on my side as I am now on medication which is helping my pain .
I am planning to get married next year, so am requesting you people to stand with me and support me in any way as God is directing you. I need your support as am planning to marry and serve the Lord with my wife with Teen Missions. In Africa the groom is responsible for every detail of the wedding including the wedding dress, bride price, reception and family gifts.
I grateful for the continuous support you rendering to me and the children I am serving.
God bless you so much, for your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
