Ireland — Europe Teen Missions Trip
Céad Míle Fáilte, or “100,000 Welcomes” in the ancient language of Ireland, is a greeting you are sure to hear as you arrive in this beautiful country of rolling green meadows and medieval castles. After completing training at the Lord’s Boot Camp, you bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight to Toronto, Canada. A connecting flight takes you across the Atlantic Ocean to Dublin, Ireland. Your final destination is in the little harbor village of Dalkey, on the southside of Dublin Bay, home of Ireland Outreach. You will be a huge blessing to this ministry by doing numerous projects around the property including landscaping, building a storage shed and completing a roof enclosure for exterior oil tanks. You may also have opportunities for ministry using the singing, puppets and drama skills that you learned at Boot Camp. Showers and washing machines are available; housing will be in tents. Enjoy a ride on the D.A.R.T. train to enjoy the sights and shops in lovely Dublin for a day. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see the elaborate St. Patrick’s Cathedral, as well as the famous Stephen’s Green Shopping Center where you may purchase souvenirs such as Irish linens, sweaters, bags and items with Irish blessings written or carved on them.
(Note: Teams are filled on a first come, first served basis.)
